What happens, and when
Times are local CEST and rounded to the minute for representative city-centre coordinates. Published city durations are cross-checked against IGN where available and Timeanddate; the Explorer/ranking calculate exact coordinates, so nearby points can differ by seconds. At maximum the Sun is roughly ≈38° high at azimuth ≈95° (E).

Timeanddate reports around 10% historical cloud cover on 2 August since 2000. The Atlantic coast can still develop local low cloud, so use the dry climatology as a baseline rather than a guarantee.
Getting there
Transport reality
Conil is primarily road/bus based and has no railway station. The A-48/N-340 approach makes a car useful for weather mobility, but potentially a liability if everyone moves at once.
For a one-off event, optimise for robustness rather than theoretical travel time: arrive early, avoid roadside parking and expect temporary traffic restrictions.

More dispersed coastal options, but avoid cliffs or coves that compromise the eastern horizon and do not rely on informal roadside parking.
