Weighted formula

Score = 30% climate + 25% duration + 15% weather escape + 10% access + 10% accommodation + 5% viewing environment + 5% crowd resilience

Climate and duration are calculated from the guide dataset. Accommodation and escape use the same structured stay-strategy categories across every base. Access, viewing environment and crowd resilience are documented editorial planning inputs scored on one shared 0–100 rubric.

Next iteration

Later versions can add user-adjustable weights, real forecast confidence, authorised accommodation pressure data and a dynamic Escape Score. Every version will remain documented so the ranking does not silently change.
